Facing the Giants

I don't care what anyone says. Sales, advertising, and marketing is a numbers game. If you don't put your pole in the water, how many fish will you catch? *0*
So if you didn't get anyone to join your business this week, I bet you talked to less than 20 people? Imagine where your biz would end up if you were to get 20 people a week to agree to watch your 3 minute video presentation? You see, if your going to do network marketing you must present your opportunity daily to people. If you don't, you have no chance of ever building a team, or making money. Mark Yarnell says, "network marketing is hard, that is why the reward is so great."
Fortunately for myself, I have learned and mastered some of the skills of attraction marketing, so my closing percentage is probably very very high, as I only talk to people who are ready to get going and usually only those who contact me directly. But that could take you a few years to get to that point, unless you have a lot of money to spend on Google AdWords or leads, so what do you do in the meantime?
Below are just a few suggestions:
Make a list - I know it sucks, but you have no choice, you have to. Call or email everyone you know who you think is like you and build your core group. Don't waste time with naysayers. Pretend you are building a pro team and your going to the championship. You don't need other professional networker's per say, but you do need a team of visionaries. Go see The Movie Hoosiers or Facing The Giants and you will catch my drift.
Bob Schmidt who was probably the greatest networker of all time and one of my earliest mentors in network marketing via audio training would say, "If you could find just one good person a year, you would get wealthy over time." Mark Yarnell says, "that 85% of all network marketers who never quit, do become wealthy."
The reality is your first few months in MLM are going to feel like the video below. I suggest you watch, so you know what you are in for. It felt like this for me for at least a year. 1 year of constant pain, Randy Gage took 5 years, and Mike Dillard 7.
